
Life is too short and forever fleeting to not enjoy what you’re doing. Mondays don’t suck, your job does, and to whoever sputtered the phrase ‘life isn’t all fun and games,’ has clearly been deprived of an audience with team Elevendy. I’ve only just arrived, brought on as a Photo Manipulating intern, but I can tell you confidently I will never again have a case of the Mondays.
Burnouts, fatigue, and exhaustion have no place here. The pace is fast and fury-ish and you’ll never meet a group of people more ‘gung-ho’ about what they do than team Elevendy. In the first few weeks since my arrival I’ve had the opportunity to work on both small and large-scale projects; projects I would have never dreamed possible to work on fresh out of college, based purely on where they fall within ‘The Epicness Scale’ (which is a thing). It’s inspiring to work with a group that doesn’t stay still for too long, but instead is constantly striving for visual awesome and always looking for ways to 1-up themselves - all while keeping things light hearted and fun.
I never know how my days are gonna go, but I’m never disappointed with the tasks I’m given. So far it’s ranged from being the frequent trash runner, all the way to being on set, photographing moms, smolders, and super soldiers. Some jobs aren’t as sexy as others but even those jobs are better than most. There’s something about being the guy that has to reload all the Nerf guns that just lets you know you’re in the right place.
Elevendy Takes Home 14 Gold ADDY Awards

Roseville, Calif. (April 8, 2013) – Since its inception just two years ago, Elevendy has been making waves across the commercial advertising and entertainment industries with its creative campaign concepts and production work. At the AAF Sacramento ADDY Awards hosted on March 21, the company shocked the crowd with its 14 Gold ADDY Awards (of 29 total Gold’s awarded) and six Silver ADDY’s.
As a chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the Sacramento Ad Club is part of the nation’s oldest national advertising trade association, headquartered in Washington D.C., representing 40,000 advertising professionals. Each year, all chapters hold a local competition with winners advancing on to the regional and national levels. Elevendy will next showcase its work at the regional ADDY competition in early April, held in Reno, NV. The national awards event will be held June 2-5 in Austin, TX. Approximately 50,000 entries are submitted at the local level annually.
Elevendy is among a bevy of new micro-agency shops. With four employees and two interns at any given time, the company offers creative support to larger advertising agencies and has clients of its own including international work for Ubisoft, Jelly Belly, and the Sacramento Kings across many different industries including sports, video games and tourism.
Elevendy is making its mark on the industry, with clients in the Sacramento region and across the country. The ADDY Awards confirmed what many of Elevendy’s clients already knew; the company produces some of the most innovative design and creative work, not only in Sacramento, but in the nation.
“We’re an agile studio with a big goal,” said Dave Cox, CEO of Elevendy. “We wanted to show that ‘sexy creative’ can come from any market, regardless of their size. Hopefully we can put the Sacramento DMA back on the map for the creative potential it has. We’ve started to do that with these awards and look forward to attending the next two rounds of competition in the coming months. We’ll also continue to help local, regional, and national agencies who sometimes have ideas that are bigger than their internal teams can produce. We love that stuff.”

Turning the world into GLITTER, one gun at a time.
A company who laughs and enjoys each other’s time together as much as team Elevendy was unheard of before I was taken under their wing. I’ve never met such a company so dedicated to pleasing and blowing the minds of their clients. Team Elevendy is so driven that even The Most Interesting Man on Earth would feel like he’s slacking.
In my first few days, I’ve learned lighting techniques for commercials, done music research for videos, editing behind the scenes footage, slated for a commercial, cleaned spilt coffee (not my fault by the way), assisted on a commercial shoot, oiled up some models, shot mounds of glitter into the sky and reconnected with the editing software Premiere.
Hard work as a young ninja is part of the required duty as well as keeping an optimistic attitude. Maintaining a great disposition is never a hard thing to do when you’re with Team Elevendy. Elevendy is just the working environment I’ve dreamed about becoming a part of. Working along side with such talented folks like these guys; I know I’m in good hands. I’m enthused to be learning from some of the best!
