Team Elevendy + Daryl Sabara

Perhaps you know him as Juni Cortez, Spy Kid extraordinaire, but we know him as Daryl Sabara, gun wielding beast slayer of the galactic savanna. Elevendy recently had the esteemed opportunity to photograph Daryl, actor in the infamous Spy Kids movies as well as Machete and his latest film Worst. Prom. Ever. released in theaters on May 10, 2011.

We’re looking forward to seeing Daryl Sabara again in his upcoming movie,John Carter, adapted from the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs and directed by Andrew Stanton (known for directing Finding Nemo and Wall-E). John Carter unfolds the story of a civil war vet’s experience on the planet Mars where he discovers 12-foot tall green barbarians, a lush & diverse planet, and a princess in need of rescuing. Currently scheduled to release on March 9, 2012, an official trailer is rumored to be coming soon.

Elevendy + Joe Duarte

The Arena, a specialty gym in San Diego, California where Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) stars are born and trained to become bag breaking badasses, hosted Elevendy for a photoshoot with professional MMA fighter, Joe Duarte. During our visit, Duarte demonstrated the height of technical fighting by firing a round of kicks with enough fervor to burst punching bags and send sand flying. Duarte can dodge flying punches with ease; to see him in action is to watch an animal on fighting grounds respond to a threat with instinctive grace. Next time there’s a brawl; Elevendy wants Joe Duarte on its team.

Elevendy Wins a National Addy Award

Elevendy headed to San Diego, California to celebrate the 2011 National Addy Awards conference held at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel. This annual event recognizes the top creative minds in the advertising industry and is the world's largest advertising competition consisting of more than 50,000 entries each year. The three-tiered competition moves from the local level to regional, and culminates with a final national competition. After winning multiple gold ADDYs at the local and regional levels, it was time to go against other national agencies at the final level of competition. Of the 1,382 entries submitted for national consideration, Elevendy was among the few to receive a Silver ADDY® Award for its digitally enhanced photography campaign for esnipe.com "Rovatron Software Launch".
